Annual Apple Picks

The days of September 23rd and 24th, September 30th and October 1st and October 7th and 8th,  we will be open from 7am to 6pm. (May change due to weather, please call ahead. 641-492-6353) On these weekends we will have apple cider, apple pies, caramel apples, squash, pumpkins, and many varieties of apples ready for picking.  Remember there are also pre-picked apples available.  This is when the Jonathon, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Jonagold and the rest of the most popular apples are ripe and ready for picking.

We do have Honey Crisp apples but, they are not available for pick your own.  Honey Crisp apples do not all ripen at the same time so the ripe ones are picked and sent to cold storage when they are ready.  If a ripe Honey  Crisp apple stays on the tree too long it turns to honey mush.  Honey Crisps are usually picked once a week.  Please contact us if you are interested.  Since Honey Crisp apples are so popular we can reserve them in our cooler for you and arrange a time for you to pick them up.
